Question A Couple Of Questions For Pittsburgh Residents.

We enjoyed ourselves so much at the 2010 NRA convention in Charlotte that we're already planning to head to Pittsburgh for the 2011 convention.

I know we're doing this way in advance but as we'll be using frequent flier points to get there we have to book the flights as early as possible.

How long do you recommend we stay in your fair city? We had a week in Charlotte and it did not seem like enough time. I'm sure there are lots of sights to see in Pittsburgh.

Will we need a rental car? We'll probably stay at the Hampton by the Convention Centre and I understand it's easy access to lots of shops and restaurants in the area. I know a car was essential in Charlotte as we like to explore.

Any more hints and tips will be appreciated.

If you like history, and can get a rental car, I'd say do it. There is a lot of history to see in that area. Since you have time see if you can get information from the surrounding counties like Westmoreland and Washington for early forts and other sites.

You will definitely need a car. Oh, and have a cheesesteak at Pramanti Bros.
I havenít heard any of the journalists who volunteered to be waterboarded asking to have their fingernails wrenched out with pliers, or electrodes attached to their genitals.

If you are traveling with a female, keep Roethlisber away. Make sure you wear a Bengals or Browns jersey too. If you are tasteless, wear a Ravens jerseys.

Definitely Primanti Brothers, and a Cold Yuengling Lager. The Duquesne Incline, The Carnegie Museum, Maybe a Pirates game for baseball, PNC Park is very nice. And You will need a car. Pittsburgh is a wonderful town, one of the few larger cities I would consider living in.
