It's tough to say goodbye because, that's what it feels like to me but, she's happy.
On the bright side, we are empty nesters now.
So, here's to a bright future to all of us...the forum included:bier:

Won't be empty for long, wait for the grandkids to show up. Lot of livin left to do!:hand10:
Congrats!
I know what you mean, my daughter goes off to college next year. She's an only child, so it's going to be really, really quiet here.
Thanks. Absolutely Hiram25, lots of livin to do! At 52, I feel great.
With a little luck and blessings from God, I hope to go at least 52 more:bier:
:congrats:
I've always said, "Marriage is a fine institution!" (as long as you like living in institutions.)
Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. Truly, Congratulations! Cheers! :bier:
Congrats! My kids are getting older, faster and I'm sure I'll be there before I know it. Enjoy the "alone" time and remember that just because she's out of the house, doesn't mean that she won't need Mom and Dad from time to time. :congrats:
Congratulations, my kids have been gone for a few years, the grandkids show up now and then and we have a pretty peaceful life for the most part, enjoy it while you can LOL.
Enjoy it while it lasts... it won't last that long.
Best wishes to the newlyweds.
And congratulations to the father of the bride.
Did you show her husband your gun collection?
Yes I did:wink: Seriously, the young man has a good head on his shoulders and I expect them to be partners for a long time.
We talked about weapons options while living in San Diego...very limited compared to Florida but, there are options and they plan on exploring them. Things will be better in Bremerton,WA when they move there later this year.
My daughter handles my g19 very well...surprised the heck out of me as she racked the slide, ejected the mag and shot it extremely well her first time out.
She's girly to the max but, very athletic and will jack a BG up if she has to.
As a dad, i'm confident that they'll both be fine but, i'm sad and a little worried that I can no longer be her protector. May God bless them both.
Thanks for the comments.
