    Gun Buyback On TV

So I turn on the TV a few minutes ago and the show Numb3rs is on and it is all about a gun buy back program that allowed some crazy to get a gun and start shooting people. Lots of anti's on this show. But I think it could also show how buy back programs allow bad people to get guns. It was about an AK47. But who would really turn that in to a buy back program in real life.

As with most failed government projects gun buy backs are a waste of time and usually not helpful. This brainchild of a demented demorepublicrat displays the mental capacity of the average gun grabber.

I used to have a .22 wheel gun that cost me under $20. I got it to use with snake shot. Whenever I see one of these buy backs offering $50 - 100, I wish I still had it!

I would have liked to turn in my cheap .22 jennings, and once I had my money, inform em the cash was going toward a better gun.

About 3 years ago one of the local citys had a "gun buy-back" day. a youg guy, obviously a gang member, had just sold a single-shot 410 shotgun for $50. The lady from the local news station asked him why. He said "It didn't work. I'd never sell a real gun for $50. Now I can buy a gun." I don't think our local media expected that, but it was a live feed. Take in junk, get $, buy better! Now if it did not contribute to the supposed success of these stupid events, I have enough junk parts I could screw, or weld, together to get a pretty good start on my next .45.....
