girl at gander mountain
So i went to gander mountain looking for a stock for the 870 i put on layaway 2 weeks ago and as is customary when I am open carrying I show the man standing at the door my permit. If i am concealed carrying, i do not bother. I know it is not required, but I do it just because they have to check all weapons unless you have a permit, so I don't want to deal with the argument that I ended up dealing with anyway. So I walk past the gentleman and this girl, who admittedly was kind of cute, walks up and says sir I need to tag your weapon so we can verify that it is unloaded. To which I replied, no you don't because it is not unloaded and I am not removing it from the holster to unload for safety reasons. The gentleman who saw my permit stepped in and told her, don't worry about him he is ok. To which she replied, No he isn't the manager told me to tag all guns, carried or not carried. So i simply pointed to the part on the sign that said permit holders excluded. Basically she did not understand the policy, we both apologized, and went our seperate ways. Funny how little misunderstandings can be worked out over a conversation isn't it. Oh and btw, she gave me her number and asked me to teach her about guns.

10 points for the FMJ quote. I think the official one is "This is my rifle, this is my gun!"

Wow, I was at GM today and all I got was a kid telling me that the shirt I wanted to buy wasn't on sale and that they must be sold out of Combat Handgun Magazine.
