    Going to Gatlinsburg Tennessee...Any advice?

Me and the missus are heading to Gatlinsburg Tennessee for a little R&R at her sisters condo. Any good gun shops in the area? Any places to take a rifle and shoot some targets? I don't know much about the area (actually I don't know anything about the area) so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Smoky mountain Knife Works. Really cool decor, antiques on display and of course, knives and gear.
There is also a small indoor mall in town on the main drag. HUGE selection of cowboy hats and boots.

I think the only range close by is private unless that has changed.

Big Bass Pro Shop in Kodak, right off interstate 40 though..

Take lots of $, spend it on Carr's brooms (to keep my in-laws happy) and don't pass up the knife store. Don't know about any ranges there.

Outside of the gun range advice, be sure to hit the Lee Greenwood show...he has a small place there where he preforms...great show, too!

Sorry, I just tried to get you some additional information and found this... http://thegreatsmokeymountainsparkwa...er/svleegr.htm ...I guess his 'old' place is now vacant.

Well, for another attraction, Gatlinburg has one of the finest aquariums the wife and I have ever visited.

That's right! How could I forget about the aquarium? Definitely work a look.

If Gaitlinburg is too busy for you, head over to Townsend. They bill that area as the "quiet side of the smokies" A couple nice historical places, nice scenery, a few shops. Real nice drive.

This!! And Smoky Mtn Knife works. The trout fishing is very good in the park. Small natives mostly. That's my thing. Take a drive up 441 to Clingmans Dome too. Big views up there.

    Just got back.
    1. Rafted the upper Big Pigion and kayaked the lower Big Pigion. Loved it.
    2. Loved the the Dixie Stampede Dinner show.
    3. Had the best hotdog ever at Dolly World.
    4. Got to go visit Knife Works. It's the size of a WalMart and has some decent prices.
    5. It's very easy to find great food.

    Go to pigeon forge too.

eat breakfast and lunch at the OLD MILL at least once. Go to the Apple Barn, knife works, bass pro, the indoor range in Sevierville and rent the full auto they have, the donutfrier, mels diner breakfast is awesome too, the aquarium. Bypass the little shops and believe it or nots they all suck. If you hear some strange person in a booth say...are you going to dollyworld,,,,don't look, run.
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!
