The Godfather: Member's favorite or most memorable scenes

Not sure this movie has been the topic of in-depth discussion, but I thought it would be interesting to see which scene(s) stick out as your favorite, or most memorable. I'm sure we all have many favorite scenes, so post as many as you'd like.

Feel free to discuss. Nothing is off topic as long as we maintain focus on The Godfather,..perhaps the quintessential cosa nostra movie of all time.

My favorite scene takes place outside the Hospital's entrance, while the recovering Don has been relocated to another room by Michael. We all know the scene.

It involves Michael and the baker's son, Enzo, standing guard outside. After the hitmen [Sollozzo's men] drive off Enzo needs a cigarette but couldn't light up because his hand was trembling too much out of fear. Michael takes the lighter and lights Enzo's cigarette easily,... and notices His hand is rock steady. Very definitive moment for Michael.

    That was a good scene.

I particularly like the scenes involving Michael's first wife, Apollonia. He finds his soulmate and happiness, but she is mistakenly murdered when she starts his car. Something beautiful and innocent was destroyed because of his choices. He can never get it back. Is this the second step down his Path, which cements his destiny (the first being his initiation as a murderer)?

I like the scene where 5-6 machine gun toting thugs riddle the car being driven by I believe James Caan.

Sonny's demise was his uncontrollable rage and love for his sister. His nemesis figured out his Achilles Heel with the help from Carlo.

I prefer the first Godfather film. For me, it has the tightest story, the best pacing, and more-interesting acting of any of the three.

Out of all the films, the scenes I most enjoy are the flashbacks to young Corleone in New York when he begins to spread his wings as head of his own family, taking out the "Black Hand" hood and taking over the protection racket in the area.

Obviously, I like the Godfather movies, and I too, like the first movie the best.
My oldest son and I have the lines memorized...we've only watched The Godfather hundreds of times.
Either he or I will through out a line and the other answers appropriately.

My father taught me many things. . . keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

If history has taught me anything, it's that you can kill anybody.

Never let anyone outside the family know what you're thinking again.

Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.

Never hate your enemies, it affects your judgement.

I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse.

Oh, Paulie. You won't see him no more.

In Sicily women are more dangerous than shotguns.

    There are a ton more...

I'll watch that movie every time it's on...my wife hates it.
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.

I love the scene where you see how Don Vito got his start. I especially like when the land lord cant figure out how to open the door.

    Some of my favorite lines....:

Michael: Fredo, you're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever.

Michael: My father is no different than any powerful man, any man with power, like a president or senator.
Kay: Do you know how naive you sound, Michael? Presidents and senators don't have men killed.
Michael: Oh. Who's being naive, Kay?

Tom Hagen: Thank you for the dinner and a very pleasant evening. Have your car take me to the airport. Mr Corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news at once.
