    Hunter safety

My 11 yr. old daughter is all signed up to take this class. she is so excited to get to take it. Wants to go out with me and her grandpa to hunt sooooo bad.
will see how much she is into hunting when she sees how much waiting is involved.

She'll do great - quality time with Dad and Grandpa! Special times for all. Congratulations!

Yep. You won't know until she goes. Some kids love it, others hate it. Until they try it they just don't know.

My nephew still thinks fishing is about catching fish. Kids...

she sees how much waiting is involved
That's the kicker for me these days Rocky - old back just can't handle too long in one position. Doesn't matter - standing, sitting, kneeling - 10 mins is max. Not helpful for a long session of patient near motionless waiting!

Your daughter tho will not hopefully have that reason regarding waiting - just a case of whether she has profound patience

Yep, I like the solitude and quiet of the woods and am happy to sit for hours near motionless, waiting for deer or such. My girlfriend takes along headphone radio, magazines and books.
