    Got a case of the big eye last night

    Last night I got this picture stuck in my head while trying to go to sleep of my Kahr PM9's night sights lit up on the night stand. So I had to go get my camera and tripod and try to capture it.

    Which one do you like the most?

    I started out just getting a black image with green sights showing up and no other detail. So I gave a quick flash of the a flashlight during the 30 second exposure. That was too much light, so I experimented with the length of time I flashed the light, and I eventually went to flashing the light through a white sock to diffuse it. Then I ended up playing with fill light, exposure, etc during post processing.

    I can't decide which one I like the most.

    I don't drink coffee. I just happened to look over and saw it glowing, and thought it would make a good pic. The only time to do that is at night. I had it on my brain then, and have been looking for a good opportunity to play with my new camera (another hobby).
