Take a look here for starters -

    http://www.303british.com/

Also try a Google on ''Lee Enfield'' - that should get you on the way to more info. I have no other links but there are one or two dedicated Enfield sites IIRC.

Chris thanks for the link, I'll take a look there and see what I can find. I've been having a hard time trying to find out what year this one is and I've been told it may be an Enfield sniper but would like to verify this info.

Great rifles, I have a number 4. scoped and sporterized with a synthetic stock, serial numbers on the rifle, bolt, and mag all match. My only dislike is the mile long trigger pull. Just the relaoding info I was just about to start looking for.

    Thanks Kid for the post,
    Thanks Chris for the link,

Ahh well - in a sense yes but ........ when I ''teethed'' on MkIV's back in early 60's this was what I so liked and still do.

The Enfield two stage trigger was always for me a bonus - 1st pressure, pause - settle on 2nd pressure and release smoothly - not tho I guess to everyone's taste, in particular if used to Mauser actions.
