    Da Vinci Code Firearms

In the Da Vinci Code, Sir Teabing carried a small 5-shot revolver in the glove box of his limo. In the movie, he was waving it around inside the Templar's cathedral. In the book, he actually fired it.

For one smiley face, what was it?

You're close. A tad too big, though.

Um, still too big. And, expensive @ $3,500 a copy. Teabing could have afforded a Korth, though.

Fake movie gun look alike. They don't let movie actors use real ones.

Sure they do even though that isn't always the case. Ron Howard's armorers called in a chip to have the right revolver in the movie. You probably saw one at the indoor range in Cimarron near you a few years ago in Katy.

    The winner!

OK, it's time for the reveal. little_hawk_59 gets the smiley face for the correct answer . You knew it was a trick question. It is a 5-shot multi-caliber Medusa. The one in the movie is number 3 of 3, the one in this
picture is number 1 of 3.

This looks very similar to the Colt 6-shot Survivor (Colt later changing its name) and then dropping it entirely in favor of kissing Clinton's butt by dropping most of the revolvers. The #1 of 1 (and the rarest Colt of all) looks like this:

    Thank you for playing!

Those are some big pics! I like the "no flash" picture better.

Hey, JW. Your correct response to Wendy is, "Yes, ma'am." How long have you two been married? Sounds like she is training you early. A relationship where the wife can come on line and make a comment about the husband's post is a healthy one. Congrats.

Well George, I told her I would argue with her if she were ever wrong, which is why we don't argue. We've known each other for 4 years, but March was our one year anniversary.

Keep up the good work. My wife and I celebrated our 28th on June 3 by going gun shopping. We have never had a fight. We agreed before we married that if one or the other of us start to get loud in a discussion the other would call a time out. When one starts to get loud it is a signal that it will not be long until blood starts to collect in the area of the solar plexis. This means that the amount of blood to feed the brain is reduced and that the discussion has degenerated into an argument/fight. If that happens because the blood supply to the brain is reduced the mouth will say things can never be taken back. One starts to react and not think and the emotions take control. The result is pain and hurt as well as a damaged relationship.

We have at various times in our 28+ years of marriage called a time out, and one of the results of this is that they have been called fewer and fewer times as the years have passed. Congratulations on your first year together and may you have many more.
