    Let's get this movie made!

This is definitely one of the top untold stories in American history. Please watch this when you have time and pass the link along:

    Oak Ridge, TN

It's about how the federal government built Oak Ridge, TN. almost overnight for the purpose of building the atomic bombs that ended WWII. This man wants to "personalize" it somewhat with a fictional character and tell the story through him.

There was a movie a while back documenting America's nuclear testing during WWII. John Cusack was in it. Hold on...

Oops my bad it was set in NM. "Fat Man and Little Boy" (1989)

I've seen that one. "Fat Man and Little Boy" briefly touched upon Oak Ridge, but it was more about the Manhattan Project in general.

Yes. The city was built from the ground up in the early 1940's and never opened to the public until many years later.

If you are looking for the complete story of the Manhattan Project, you should read "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes. It is a little tough in the beginning, but gets rolling pretty soon and covers the project from start to finish. Very good reading.
