The G19 really let me down last night...
Perhaps that's why I'm OCD about cleaning and maintenance.

So does mine except usually it is a really long trigger on my glock or the barrel is so short I can fire right or something stupid like that.

In my dreams my trigger is always broken. Kind of like a cheap toy gun with a broken trigger.

Wow, we could get all kinds of Freudian on this!
In mine the issue is usually an extremely target rich environment and a shortage of weapon compatible ammo. (Boxes of .45 all over the place and I have a 9mm etc.)

For the same reason people who speak in public have dreams about giving a speach naked. It's what you are worried about. It all filters into your dreams. Or, it is your subconscious mind working out a solution to a problem you've been dealing with. Why is it that my guns always misfire in my dreams?
Are you concerned about your G19 mis-firing? If so, shoot it more and become more confident with it.

Agreed. I stopped having dreams like that years ago. My wife says I get eerily calm in the worst stressful situations. The more dangerous/stressful the situation...the slower everything gets around me.
Of course, afterwards when I have time to evaluate everything and think of all of the possible outcomes, thats when I get an adrenaline dump need a moment to sit down. Sometimes it happens as long as a day or so later.
I guess as a father..I still list the worst being when my 2 yr old daughter was choking on something. Its even hard to explain...with all of my years of CPR and first aid training I almost lost her. She turned blue and went limp in my arms as I tried to clear her airway. I had reached that critical point of no return and had to try a last ditch effort. Thankful I was able to dislodge the article of food and she is fine today. But I often think back to how controlled I was during those moments and how I was a wreck in the moments after when I heard her cry and knew she was ok. The flood of emotions ajd the adrenaline dump were intense to say the least. Talk about dreams? I sometimes still dream about that day and the outcome in my dreams is every fathers worst nightmare. That's what I sometimes dream about.
Sorry for the mini vent.
In my dreams, which I've been having for decades, the trigger is always impossible to pull, no matter how hard I try. It's always with a revolver and I see the hammer trying to arc back but just not quite getting there. That's why I carry an automatic.

They always misfire in your dreams to scare the crap out of your subconscious and drill maintenance into you.

I have the same thing!! It's always too hard to pull, and by the time I do get the thing to go off, the target is definitely not in the sights.
But I've also had the same dream where I'm armed with a shotgun and use cover, etc. Everything is in color and it's been at 2 of the 3 places I've lived the last decade...VERY VERY REAL.
Better to die on your feet, than to live on your knees.
In many of my dreams the guns work but the bullets just bounce off or barely stick to the bad guy.
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!
I am soooo glad I'm not the only one.!
