Kinda like the time I woke up to someone beating the hell out of my front door. Grabed to old model 10 Smith and answered the door. To my surprise, there stood the local LEO to tell
me that a friend of mine needed me to pull guard duty because he was 600 miles away on a weekend pass and just remembered he had duty. I just kinda slid it down the back of a chair
and thanked the fine man for the massage. All I could think of was, Man, that could have turned out real bad. Only back frm Nam for 2 months, didn't need any truble.

LOL. I've also learned this the hard way. Many years ago, I was driving along with all the windows down and got a call from a number I didn't know, after answering the person asked to speak to me by name, and stammered a little,and I could barely hear them, so I finally just yelled "WHAT THE (expletive)DO YOU WANT !?!?!?" ,.....turns out it was my soon-to-be boss, calling to tell me they wanted to hire me
