I hope you get your wish well before Christmas. That has to be one of the greatest wishes I have ever heard. God Bless.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their wishes and prayers.
My wife went in for an angiogram to check out the stents the cardiologist put in two years ago. All the prior tests (nuclear stress, etc.) indicated A-OK, but when he got in there, he found the stents closed and inoperable, regardless of following all the diets and taking of meds.
He has referred her to a heart surgeon and he said she is looking at a double, if not triple, bypass in the coming week or so. We'll hear back about the scheduling today, maybe.
Yes, we are scared, but we shall get through this, somehow.
    Again, thanks!

UPDATE: Her surgery is scheduled for Thursday the 11th. Sure nice to have a date. Going to have alot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Thank you, again, for your prayers and wishes everyone!
Her surgery (double bypass) was a success and she is doing very well.
The hospital is talking about letting me take her home tomorrow.
Be safe, everyone, and may God bless you!

I am hoping to join the Texas State Guard (not National Guard) very soon and since they have a very small budget we have to buy all of our own gear.

So my Christmas list comprises of Gortex parka, mummy sack, 2 sets of ACUs and 2 pair of desert boots, MOLLE pack, etc. etc. Or just plain old cash so I can go shopping around for all that gear.
