Yeah he is probably best known now among the younger generation as the Biker in “The Rocky Picture Horror Show”. Actually that’s who I know him as.

OK, funny and true story about that song.

I was listening to that CD (Bat Out of Hell II) one day in my office and an Intern walked by and said she loved that song. I asked her, "Oh, you like Meatloaf?" and her response was "I suppose, if it is cooked right."

I asked her out after that comment

No joke.... about 20 yrs ago.... my sister-in-law (much younger than my ex-wife) comes up and says ...... "you have to hear this band I just learned about ... they are called the Beatles". OMG ... some people were just born yesterday.

My son kept playing his music loud with Metallica and said I just didn't like the music. I told him it's not the music, it's how loud you are playing it at midnight. He didn't listen, so I went in and cranked up my amp, etc. ...... and put on Jimmi Hendrix. Drowned out his Metallica.

Some people don't step outside themselves to realize, just where those ahead of them have been. It's like when my kids were grown and I went out and bought a rather fast sports car.... they asked "why on earth" I would buy a car like that ... I had never driven anything like that. I told them, before you were born... this is all I drove, I had to give them up to be able to haul you around everywhere.

Meatloaf , is an oldie. I always did like Meatloaf.

Actually, not sure about if its an urban myth or not. Supposedly it was a "response" song. His real life wife announced she was bisexual and wanted him to "particitpate in her extramarital activities....."I would do anything for love but I wont do that...."

I remember my parents listening to Meatloaf back when I was a kid, and I really liked Bat out of Hell.
