To the Attic Quick!
Treasure in the attic fetches family $86 million Holy cow I need to find one of these!
A British mother and son who found a rare Chinese vase while clearing out the attic of a dead relative hit the jackpot when it sold for $86 million.....
in a new twist, claims have now emerged that the owner of the vase was told it was a fake after taking it for evaluation by experts on an Antiques Roadshow-style television program....

People just don't appreciate my Richard Nixon stamps that I tucked away after a campaign rally. I just knew he was going to be a great president.
My niece is still waiting for her beanie baby investment to hit peak value...

When I was a kid, I got all of the comic books when they first came out, got them all. I had several piles of them over three feet tall. When we moved to Delaware, my parents burned them so they would hot have to transport them. Boy would I like to have them back!

One never knows do they? I'd rather come across that than keep playing scratch-offs for sure.

Why is ANY vase worth 86 million?
"That I cannot do."

It's funny the value that rich people assign to weird stuff

I used to have a campaign button that was my Dad's from Nixon. It said, and I hope I don't get zinged by the mods here, "They can't lick our (you figure out the rest, short for Richard)."
I have often thought I should be buying all the weird toys and stuff that comes and goes and just chuck it all in a temp control storage unit. One day my grandkids would hit the jackpot.

I wonder too why some stuff is worth gajillions and other stuff not.

That is an ugly vase. It's worth target practice to me.

I had grocery bags full of them, N My dad took mine to the city dump right after I go married and moved out.....
I had some pristine first editions of spiderman, x men, and many other super hero's back from the days when a comic was a dime, yeah I could have sold them for a pile of $$$$ today......
