Design your own range/training center
For discussion sake...
You are independently wealthy and you want to design your own range and training center. How much land do you need/want and what do you want included in your range? Who would you hire as a trainers? Would your range specialize in one area or be wide open in regards to training?
Talk amongst yourselves.

Land? Texas would do. Can I just buy the entire state?
If it shoots I would have someplace to shoot it.
If there is an expert in the field/sport/game I would hire them.
If there is a sport/game I would allow it.
Then I would come up with my own gun games.
Have my own airline to fly in and out of the various locations.
Make my own guns and accessories.
I can't list everything else that goes along with such an endeavor, but assume that is all in there as well.
Think this place only bigger and with more stuff offered.
You said independently wealthy. I take that to mean money is no object.

About 640 acres and backed up to about 50,000+ acres of public wilderness.
Safety fans would bea BIG issue I would think.
Need at least 1000 M. And 3-4 miles behind that. The rest just falls into place.
Interesting where bullet go when you watch tracers at night.

That Vahalla place is PLUSH...
I would want to create and run a facility that catered to both GOV and Civilian alike... GOV covering Military/Law Enforcement/Homeland Security, CIV covering CCW, Armed Body Guards, Contractors, and other responsible persons...
Buildings with offices as shoot houses, Houses as shoot houses, Aircraft, Buses, Etc...
Classrooms dedicated to civilian education of CCW, Hunters Safety, Etc...
Other classrooms dedicated to LEO Training/GOV...
Several indoor ranges...
Some of the indoor ranges with Virtual programs to similate scenarios...
Etc...
If only money was no object...
I would also have in place folks to assist LEO and other agencies and civilians in getting grant money to fund education, equipment, etc...
As far as instructors... there are many out there... But I'm sure we could all come up with a list of folks who run great programs...
From experience I would hire Steve Silverman of Firearms Research Institute as my inititial consultant and use his guidance of getting other instructors...
So, when do we start...?
