If you are going to rob a bank...

...don't do it when the FBI Task Force is there!

    http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local...107326138.html

Both agents were talking to bank personnel and getting security video from the establishment because they believed the alleged bandit had previously cased the bank, agents said.

Just then the junior agent saw a man outside similar in size to the robbers description wearing the same clothes and hat worn in the most recent stick-ups. When they apprehended him he was found to be carrying a 9 .m.m semi-automatic handgun in his pocket

That's along the same lines as the guy who robbed a local bank when I was a kid. He dropped his hat. He had written name in his hat! I guess some criminals really aren't smart enough to do anything else.

We had one that gave a note to the bank teller and she told him she could not read his name, that he would have to print it, he printed his own name.

Or the one that wrote his note on the back of his pay envelope and the Police were waiting for him at his house.

Reminds me of the guy who tried to rob a gun shop with a knife. Yes, I'm serious.
A CCW is like a parachute; if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.
