I am sure that Lima, Bunny and several of the other women will chime in.

I don't have any great ideas for you this year but I'll try. With a baby on the way a pregnancy photo shoot would be a great idea. Take her to a photographer and have her pose for some mommy to be shots. Make sure she knows that you think she is beautiful and make a nice photo album for her. If you let her help she will like it even more. It will be a gift for a lifetime and it will be less than $150. Obviously it won't be a surprise but if you hurry you can have the finished album done in time for Christmas.
Next year make a list. If you are going to be married you will have a thousand conversations with her when she says "I'd really like a new ***** " or " Boy I wish I had gotten ***** ". She'll just be thinking out loud but you should sneak away and add that item to your list. When a B-day or Christmas rolls around you'll have a list of things to choose from to get her. The best part is that they don't always have to be expensive and she will think you can read her mind.

Thanks for that suggestion! I mean we are engaged to get married but I know why don't we just rush it for Christmas because we ended up getting pregnant!?
That's the best idea I've heard all day.
However the photo-shoot sounds nice, I thought about doing something like that for her Birthday last year. I might look around at some pricing, thanks for the good suggestion.

Every year my family asks me what I want and I always tell them: AMMO!!
They think I'm kidding, but I'm serioius as a heart attack.
Now, for the fiance - my suggestion is very simple but will take some work on your part. Spend a day doing ALL of the chores around the house (or apartment). Do the dishes, scrub the floors, vacuum the carpet, clean the bathroom (including the toilet and shower), do the laundry (including the folding and ironing), and then fix a wonderful dinner for the 2 of you. Light some candles. Play some romantic music.
The whole works. Don't let your fiance lift one finger!!
Trust me: She will melt like butter.
Besides, there is nothing sexier than watching your man vacuum the floor.
Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.

One of the best gifts I ever received was from a co-worker fifteen years ago. It was a Remington coffee mug filled with .22 long rifle. The ammo of course is long gone, but I use the mug almost daily.

You're welcome. Don't forget to do the list thing though, it really works. The gifts don't need to be super expensive if they are what she wants. My wife is a work out addict. She broke her favorite water bottle and has been grumbling about the cheap one she has to use now. A new one only cost me $11 but she will be very happy to have it. I'm also getting her a new set of cross training shoes and some replacement headphones for her MP3 player. Add in a nice card and some stocking stuffers and I have spent just under $100 but she will still be very happy. The list thing works!

You could always ask the BFF. Of course say to keep it confidential that you asked and of course she won't and she will say "oh it was so sweet, Fooey asked me what you would want for Christmas....blah blah blah". This will get you extra bonus points.
If you could find out what clothes store she likes or a certain salon, you could then get a gift cert for after the baby comes. Maybe matching gift certs, one for her and one for a kids place.
Or, how about a 410 home defense shotgun - small and light.

How about a brand new Apple iPad $499.00? In a few months she will be pregnant and her feet will probably hurt a lot so she can use the iPad to watch movies, browse the Internet and chat with friends and family.
