The 66-year-old woman has racked up 44 felonies and 63 misdemeanors and has been incarcerated 34 times, a prosecutor said during her most recent sentencing.
Maybe...just maybe...
if she PROMISES and gives her WORD that she will stay out of trouble from now on they will take pity on her and shorten her sentence. <~~~

My hats off to the judge for not allowing her sentence to run concurrently with the federal charges.
Melvin gave Simmons 10 years to serve and denied her attorney's request that he run it concurrently with whatever time she gets in federal court.
Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.
