I let my ignorance shine through!
It seems I asked a question in a thread that pushed some panic buttons. I had no idea that any state allowed concealed carry for anyone under 21. Sorry for the chaos, I learned something, but I'm probably not any smarter.
I'm not a lawyer or a LEO, just a pantload with a computer.

Indiana, you can get your license at 18, and get a lifetime one too.

18 is the legal age in Alabama, but being a May Issue State, it is left up to the discretion of the County Sheriff who will be issuing the permit.
It's not what you go thru in life, but how well you go thru it.

Texas has an 18 year age limit for Military between 18 and 21,Some states that honor a Tx CHL have an amendment that the CHL holder must be at least 21 to carry in their state.
