    Out of the Pit

As of this morning, for the first time since my divorce 12 years ago, I am officially out of debt!!

No more loans or credit card bills!! All I have now is living expenses and child support.

Now comes the fun part of trying to improve my credit score

Congradulations!!! I remember writing my last check...8 years ago like i was yesterday. Happiness to you! My motto? You know why that divorce was so expensive? It was worth that much!
Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.

Congrats. Good luck on building the credit. Get you a gas card and used it to put one or two tanks of gas each month in your vehicle, then pay it off each month when the bill comes due. That'll help. You could also get a secured credit card for a couple hundred bucks, charge about $50 or $60 on it each month and pay it off when due. Just charge things that you would normally buy anyway, but use the card instead of your checking account. Pay it when it's due, and on time. This should help build your score up.
