PA has a great variety of city, suburb, and rural life. As mentioned CCW is extremely convenient. And we have a Cabela's that is 1/4 million square feet...it's absolutely ginormous.
...and cheesesteaks, I love me some cheesesteaks.

South Dakota has that Bike Rally in Sturgis every year where ALL STATES permits are just fine. This rally also doubles the population of the state during that time.
Fishing and Hunting industries especially pheasant hunting are major economic forces.
SD has one of if not the highest % populations of CCW permit holders.
Prairie Dogs, lots of them... Ranchers hate them, but have figured out that people will drive from far away to help control the population..
Best of all, SD is one of the easiest places to legally carry, and one of the least likely places to need one... I believe there is a direct correlation.
A morning mist hanging in the Missouri Ozark mountains.
A sunset turning the wheat fields in the northern prairies red.
The tugs and barges churning up the Mississippi River.
Catfishing on the Missouri River.
Visiting Bass Pro Shops in Springfield.
Seeing the St. Louis Arch at night.
Watching the Cardinals play ball (Sorry, Royals fans!)
Watching an anvil shoot, and wondering why they do that in the first place!
Visiting the Pony Express Stable in St. Joseph.
Touring the Anhueser-Busch Brewery for the free beer at the end.
Wondering in winter when the cold weather will get here (and it never does)
Wondering in summer just how high the humidity can get!
AND:
Touring some of the fine old homes in Ste. Genevieve, then staring across the Mississippi and laughing at the poor folks stuck in the Peoples Republik of IllAnnoy!

I absolutely am sick of California. The Libs have completely taken over. On the other hand where I live (out in the central valley in the middle of 400 acres of farm land) I love it. My home is about 5 acres off of the road. I can shoot and ride four wheelers right down to the san joaquin river. If I stay on my little slice of heaven it is great other than that the state has been overrun.
