PA has a great variety of city, suburb, and rural life. As mentioned CCW is extremely convenient. And we have a Cabela's that is 1/4 million square feet...it's absolutely ginormous.

...and cheesesteaks, I love me some cheesesteaks.

    Virginia = history.

I don't believe that you'll find a higher concentration of historically significant places/events for the period of 1607 to 1865 anywhere else in out great nation.

The 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown is gonna be a BIGGIE happenin'. Y'all come on and visit!!

South Dakota has that Bike Rally in Sturgis every year where ALL STATES permits are just fine. This rally also doubles the population of the state during that time.

Fishing and Hunting industries especially pheasant hunting are major economic forces.

SD has one of if not the highest % populations of CCW permit holders.

Prairie Dogs, lots of them... Ranchers hate them, but have figured out that people will drive from far away to help control the population..

Best of all, SD is one of the easiest places to legally carry, and one of the least likely places to need one... I believe there is a direct correlation.

A morning mist hanging in the Missouri Ozark mountains.

A sunset turning the wheat fields in the northern prairies red.

The tugs and barges churning up the Mississippi River.

    Catfishing on the Missouri River.

Visiting Bass Pro Shops in Springfield.

Seeing the St. Louis Arch at night.

Watching the Cardinals play ball (Sorry, Royals fans!)

Watching an anvil shoot, and wondering why they do that in the first place!

Visiting the Pony Express Stable in St. Joseph.

Touring the Anhueser-Busch Brewery for the free beer at the end.

Wondering in winter when the cold weather will get here (and it never does)

Wondering in summer just how high the humidity can get!

    AND:

Touring some of the fine old homes in Ste. Genevieve, then staring across the Mississippi and laughing at the poor folks stuck in the Peoples Republik of IllAnnoy!

Texas is already covered, other than we got a D- on the Brady quiz.

It's a blast reading everyones responses! I've lived in a few, visited others, and love them all in their unique way.

I absolutely am sick of California. The Libs have completely taken over. On the other hand where I live (out in the central valley in the middle of 400 acres of farm land) I love it. My home is about 5 acres off of the road. I can shoot and ride four wheelers right down to the san joaquin river. If I stay on my little slice of heaven it is great other than that the state has been overrun.

Lake Erie and all the fun you can have there boating or exploring the islands or the coast.

Cedar Point Amuzment Park- more roller coasters in one park then some states have altogether.

The battle site of Fallen Timbers (where my grandfather once owned land), the pivital point in the war of 1812.

We go from flat land as far as the eye can see to rolling hills.
In northwest Ohio, you can be in Canada in about an hour. Why? dont know why.

Route I-75, takes you from Northern Michigan to the bottom of Florida.

Interstate route 80-90, aka the turnpike, major East / West route.

The people will stab you in the back to get your job.

Per john denver who made a song about Toledo Ohio, we roll up our sidewalks at 5pm.

    Greenfield Village n Detroit.

Best city to stay away from Detroit.(we want to give it back to Ohio but they don't want it either)

Water every where: if you dig a hole deep enough you will find it, heck we are surrounded by the stuff.

    MOSQUITO hunting season .410 minimum.

No 2 in car deer accidents, hunting season begins just after above season ends.

Construction season: where the shortest distance between two points is usually blocked by a Detour.

More on MI. We close public school for the opener of deer season(up north anyway). Big Mac bridge, a marvel of construction. Many lakes, rivers and open state land for all to enjoy.
