Did you get what you wanted for Christmas?

My best present was that I got over the flu. I had a stomach bug all day on Christmas eve. It was pretty rough but my present was waking up and feeling better. I had a light breakfast and didn't push it. I was even feeling good enough to play with my kids. Yay!

Last night I had to build a big doll house for my daughter while I was sick as a dog. It was NOT fun at all. I got it done though and it was ready to go for Christmas morning.

    What did you get?
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

250 rounds of 9mm and .45 acp range ammo!

Edit: Well I guess that SA Loaded I bought myself earlier in the week should count as a present

A new Kershaw knife, some shirts, some cologne, a nanovault combination COM style lock box for my vehicle, an aviator (bomber) style hat with rabbit fur and water resistant outer shell, and lots, and lots of sex that fit just right! You asked.

No present can match the one you receive when you see the look on a child's face as he opens presents. My friends will bring their kids over next week. That will be my present.

I got tires on my wife's car.
She's on call for the hospital at unholy hours, in all weather.
I did look rather silly trying to gift wrap four tires, on the car, in the garage.

I got an Ed Brown Stainless 1911 Barrel (which will finish up my latest 1911 build) Boo Hoo...it needs a slightly shorter barrel link though & I only have longer links here.
I got a passel of some damn good & tasty gourmet beef jerky. (yum yum)
A nook/color (which is charging up right now).
    A Fusion pro-glide shaver set.
and 8 bottles of all different super specialty types of beer & ale & one bottle of my favorite Pennsylvania red country wine.
So...there ya have it.....Santa was very good to me.

Plus every year Mrs. QK bakes her cookies. My 2 faves are her 150 year old family recipe Fig Cookies & these other ones called: "DEATH BY CHOCOLATE" and they are amazing delicious.

I gave myself for Christmas a Mossberg 590A1 12 gauge shotgun, a bunch of accessories for it (Surefire 323LMG tactical light, Spec Ops universal tactical sling, a 5.11 Tactical 42" double rifle case, plenty of molle gear for the 5.11 Tactical rifle case, a Tac-Star side saddle shell holder and an Allen Company butt stock shell holder) and a whole set of Marine MARPAT standard issued woodland digital camouflage. My wife gave me a brand new Spyderco Military pocket knife, the Band of Brothers and The Pacific complete series box sets and an encyclopedia of Firearms. Yes, I am very pleased with my Christmas presents this year!!! :)
