Whatever it is, I'd say it had a very bad case of mange. Raccoon, Opossum, or an exotic pet that escaped from somebody's home. DNA tests would clear up the mystery.
It looks very similar in the face to that thing in TX that was featured on a MonsterQuest on the History channel. I can't remember what the DNA test turned up... it seems all those shows leave you hanging.

Looks like somebody finally killed my neighbors yappy dog. I'm not sure why they skinned it though.

It looks like a coydog with mange. He wouldn't last through the winter and they are more aggressive than coyotes. That thing needed killing.
