I've been told I have a face made for radio...does that count?
Know Guns, Know Safety, Know Peace.
No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.
He does have a great Classic Radio voice.
Let's see if he shows up for work.
People are homeless for a reason.
Let's hope this is the "feel good" story of the year.
I think this guy will make it.He seems genuine in his thankfulness, and realizes he has another chance at life.I used to be haughty about my ability to make money and all that.Life taught me that 'there but for the grace of God,go I"
What a gift! All the best to him.

Saw the guy on a Tv news story, he's been an addict for years, but "clean" for about 2 yrs now..... and trying to get on his feet.
A company in New York, flew him to NY and paid him $10,000 to be the "voice" in some commercials..... and behind it... the reason was his mother lives in New York, is very old and in poor health and he had told them in one story...... "he's been praying that some day he could find a way to see his mother before she died, and so that she would know and be proud of him for staying clean". He said "his mother" was a major reason he wanted to get clean ... "so she would be proud of me before she's gone". They showed his arrival in New York, and they guy started to "thank them" , and completely broke down in tears when the subject came to his mother..
I hope this guy the best, and hope it all works out well for him, and he stays "clean". He has an amazing voice.
All .... from a youtube video on-line.
As one newcaster put it .... "the power of the internet, just gave this man a new chance in life ... and may have changed it forever".

Chief Justice John Roberts : "I don't see how you can read Heller and not take away from it the notion that the Second Amendment...was extremely important to the framers in their view of what liberty meant."
Haven't followed this carefully, but I'm always thrilled when someone down on their luck gets a break. Its a win for everyone.
I wish him and his new employer nothing but good luck.
Well, I hope he takes the job, turns his life around and stays clean. I wish him the best.

Here's a video for anyone interested.
I hope he can continue to stay clean and turn his life around with his gift here. Pretty amazing voice.
He used to have a job in broadcasting but lost it over drug and alcohol abuse. Addictions are a tough thing to break, but if he's been clean and sober for two years, I think he deserves a shot at it.
It's not being able to get back on your feet again once you clean your act up, which causes a lot of people to lose their sobriety and fall back into addiction. They figure what's the point, and quickly become discouraged.
This guy is really getting a helping hand up, and was saved before he fell back into his old ways. God willing, I really hope it works out for him this time.
