Web-Controlled Shotguns Found In GeorgiaAUGUSTA, Ga. -- Georgia authorities are investigating the discovery of six loaded shotguns aimed at a food plot that were rigged to be fired through a network of Web-controlled cameras.
At first I thought this was a joke, then MAYBE a trap set up by illegal weed growers.......now it just appears to be highly inventive (or exceptionally lazy) hog hunters.

I don't know much of GA law, but in Utah, someone would be going to jail. That is 100% completely illegal in Utah. Guns must be fired by a human, guns rigged to be fired in ANY other manner are illegal.

Pretty sure that would fall under the trap gun prohibition in Kansas too.
As those appear to be semi-autos, and assuming the program is designed to reset the trigger, ATF could easily make the case that he manufactured an unlicensed machine gun.

Some overeager hunter in Georgia hooked up a bunch of shotguns to be fired via webcam.
They need to get their terminology correct, a hunter would never set up something like that it was obviously a poacher.

There was a thing going around several years ago where supposedly disabled hunters could sit an a computer and hunt deer by aiming and clicking the mouse to fire. I'm not against disabled people(I'm not far from it myself) being able to hunt, but if they are so disabled that they can't be brought to the field in a wheel chair, maybe it is time to give up hunting.
