That's how it should be done!
I havenít heard any of the journalists who volunteered to be waterboarded asking to have their fingernails wrenched out with pliers, or electrodes attached to their genitals.

That was AWESOME and shows how it SHOULD be done!

Here is how the Chinese do it.

The Chinese video above is interesting, about halfway through is the "shot". It appears to me her shot is high and above his head, the hostage taker does fall back and I'm guessing he fell back from over-reacting. I'd say that her follow-up shots were on the mark though.

That's how you treat a violent criminal, probably not gonna see many copy-cats try to pull that stunt.

In the first one I wonder why they didnt just snipe him when he let the other two go if they were worried about a grenade. That Chinese cop shot waaay over that guys head with her first shot. Completely missed. Why the guy fell down I have no idea. Her follow up shots appeared to be almost point blank while he was laying on the ground. I'm shocked his hostage walked away.

Let our Police try any of that and they would be skewered. I wish we were harder on our criminals, no TV or college educations for them.

He staggered back because of the noise and concussion effect is my guess - both (noise and concussion) had to be pretty substantial, as the range was very close.

I figured the Spaniards would have just wired the bike with a bomb. That would have been spectacular, but not bad as it was.

That didn't look like a cop that shot, but a nurse... It didn't look like she had handled a gun much before by the way she was shooting. I thought only cops and millitary had guns in China, not nurses....
