Since every human being will need to serve at least some modestly useful purpose...I am thinking possibly "cannibalism" in this particular instance.

This is an "oldie" but goodie. Now my questions........

What are vegatable trees? Are they just native to California or have they been imported from other states? I can't find any in West Virginia so I didn't know they existed.

Food is free? She said all we have to do is to "pay the farmer" for our food. I thought it was "free"? My bad. Oh, wait a minute, the land is free. Well, that answers the question.

Slaves on the east coast? I thought the 13th amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolished that? Maybe not?

Lower the rent? Wow. The precursor to the "The Rent is Too Damn High" party of New York. I guess she inspired it, huh?

Maybe the "vegetable" she consumed prior to this burst of inspiration was "Cannabis Sativa?" Or perhaps a concentrated extract from a vegetable tree known as "Erythroxylum coca?"

California (insert derogatory ten point penalty slogan here).

I lived in SoCal for ten years and I liked the time I spent there. I was young, the girls were smoking hot and the weather was sunny. Still, I wouldn't go back for a million dollars!
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Uhhhh, she proves that blondes don't have a corner on the "dumb" market! She is either one of the stupidest people I have ever seen or was under the influence of wacky weed or some other substance when she gave this speech! The council was very polite for not laughing in her face.

I lasted 12 years. I married one of the smoking hot girls and hauled her back to Colorado. She's a grandmother now and still with me. Every time we go back to visit people in California we remember exactly why we left the place.

Wasn't she in that video with the group of people screaming about the trees?

I noticed that no one asked her any follow-up questions, was it because she was clear and thorough, or was it because it was pointless.

Right at the end, did I hear some applause?
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

You know what scares me? At the end someone clapped! I am hoping they were expressing happiness that she was done. I fear they may have agreed with her statements. That would mean they could out vote me.
I think I am starting to understand why so many Texans want to secede.
