    Hard core FOF training!

I just finished a 1/2 hour long running, gunning Nerf gunfight with my wife and two oldest kids (ages 3 and 5).

It was full on pandemonium! About halfway through I ran out of Nerf darts and was reminded to always carry an extra mag. When I was out of ammo I had to resort to inflicting wedgies on my opponents. <--- Isn't war hell?

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

When I was tucking my son into bed tonight he said "Dad, I think you won our gunfight.". I told him to make sure that he told his mother that I won. :)

    Nerf war? Something like this:

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

Did you get to use Dirty Harry's line? "did I fire five or six..."

My daughter's boyfriend and I go head to head on Call of Duty, it gets intense. I always get defeated but what a riot.
