    ticketed for 65 in 45...

Well I got tagged today for speeding. Ticketed for 65 in 45. I am usually a relaxed driver and not a speeder. Amyway, I handed my CHP along with insurance and other docs. I was hoping for a bit of a break after reading some posts here with people stories about catching a break but nope... I got the full ticket! $175.00. I think I will just get a lawyer so I don't get any pioints or have to go to boring driver school for 4 hours. Damn!

I respect a man who can accept responsibility for getting himself into a trick bag, and not try to slough it off on somebody else/society.

I will be mentioning you to my daughters today as an example to admire.

You don't need a lawyer for that. Just go in and ask for a plea. Plea guilty and ask in return for a point deduction. Thats all a lawyer will do for you.

65 in a 40 zone is quite a significant amount of speeding. Keep yourself and us all safe. Go take the course.

Did that in Wake county (70 in a 55) DA reduced ticket to 64 in a 55, less fine and only one point. My fault did not see the speed reduction.

Try not getting so "Relaxed" when you drive, down here we have a 4 lane highway 70 mph get squeezed down to 2 lanes and 45 mph on an overpass and 1 lane going east and 1 lane going west,in the last couple months we have had 3 fatalities there and numerous accidents, due to speed reduction, and traffic literally stopping due to volume.

Just be glad you weren't in Arizona. That would have been a "criminal speed" charge.....

My wife got nabbed 70 in a 55 also, lawyer was the best money spent, ticket was reduced down to defective equipment. No points, no driver training, no pfj, no time missed from work, nothing but a reasonable check to the attorney and telling him what we wanted.

North Carolina is not so forgiving, at 15 over Trooper can pull license on the spot.

That lawyer is gonna cost you more than 175 bucks.
