Saw a preview not long ago - seems there is a program about sharpshooters, including some demo's. Thought I'd mention, as could be worth a look - I'll try and check it out myself.
(Pretty sure it's History Channel - but if not then it's Discovery.

Enjoyable program - good to see some stellar shooting from Tom Knapp and Jerry Miculek in particular.
To hit an aspirin in the air with a .22 is quite something!!

Am watching it now. I have a lot of practicing to do.
Wow...incredible!!
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

Dumbo here thought it was just one hour - found out it was two but, saw a fair bit of part II.
Some really amazing shooting - if Bud had seen that he'd have enjoyed seeing Jerry pop off a few rounds from his short barrel Smith 500.
The high speed camera stuff too was pretty effective. Mind you, a lot of ordinary camera shots blatantly ignoring rule #2 !!!

Kinda embarrassing to watch. I need a better paying job because I need more practice![]()

That what I thought. I really enjoyed the show. I was amazed to see the fella shoot the asprin. I need alot more practice!
P95Carry, you need to watch the first part. I thought the first hour was quite abit better than the second!

No sweat Tros - I did see part one - it was just some of part 2 I missed, having thought it was only an hour long.
Yes part 1 was on balance probably the best but - great to see such a program aired anyway - almost encouraging![]()

Oh ok, I read your post wrong. It was quite a good show, no doubt.

Darn, just when I thought my shooting was improving I watch this program! Somehow I think trying to shoot an asprin would probably GIVE me a headache......
It was a pretty good show though.

Yesterday I watched a show in HD called Ultimate Impact that showed high speed images of bullets, impacts and explosions. Really fascinating, especially impacts by space debris on orbiting objects and how some explosions actually cause damage,
great program....very interesting.
Bill Jordan shoulda been in that bunch, with his Smith model 19's.
I got an old book with photos on the Topperweins that I need to dig out.
I watched that program yesterday.. goodness!!
I am thrilled with myself when I can get a full magazine into the black at 7 yards.. but shooting an aspirin out of the air? I am not ready for that!!
I shoot trap occasionally.. and I can officially claim that "I'm not very good at it!!" I need more practice.. but when the guy threw up seven clay targets and shot them all with his Benelli Auto Loading shotgun.. I casually (and quite manly I thought) reminded Lilly that "No big deal.. I'd like to see him do that with a pump!" Then he shot seven clay targets with a pump!!! That guy is GOOD!!
