    I did some checking. Plaxico's mother was Latina. His brothers are named Carlos and Ricardo.

    She was a single mom, though, and raised her sons by herself. Plaxico grew up without any father.

    People keep saying that fathers are not essential to the development of boys, but I have different thoughts about that. Having a father is a very good thing, in my opinion.
