In the car world, the visible difference between them is the same as the difference between a 2006 911 and a 2010 911; now big differences on the outside, all very subtle. But they tweaked and re-worked a lot of the internals.

^ A recent C&D editorial actually had the same lament of the now-under-VW-ownership Lamborghini. The article mentions that certainly, the Aventador was a Geneva show-stopper, but that it was but an evolution of the same flying-wedge, that perhaps the Germans have taken to developing it as they do their own, by evolution, rather than revolution. In contrast, they offer up the Ferrari FF.

    FWIW, I agree.

    You are kidding, right?

As for the evolution of both cars and Glocks, I see big changes.

Just for the record, VW does not and never did OWN Porsche. In the 60's and 70's they supplied Sales, Marketing, Service, and Parts support under contract for Porsche.
They are the owners of VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW Commercial Vehicles, Bentley Bugati, Lamborgianti, and Scania.

    +1. Timeless design. My '93 Ducati 900SS doesn't look much different than a 1973 750SS.

Glocks have changed... Weaver rails underneath, RTF, 4th gen back straps. and far as the 911 outside shape is similar but its the drive train that has been updated.
God invented cops so that firemen could have heroes too!
