Who in the hell is going to help you service that thing let alone where would you get parts and tires for it. Did you see the lug nuts on that thing it would take you half a day just to change a flat tire. Still very cool. If I ever see one I promise Ill shoot at.

I watch it a lot myself. It's a great show with a lot of nuances and low-key humor. My favorite episode is probably the African special.
There was one episode where Clarkson told an American guest "I would tell you 'Welcome to the free world' but now you it's the other way 'round" or something to that affect. They do insult America a bit but they insult pretty much every country other than Britain (while making it a not-so-secret secret that British cars aren't very good and that the British government is far from perfect) so I always take it more as good-natured ribbing among friends than actual insults.
Clarkson has gone on record though as being opposed to the ultra-close relationship between England and the US. I don't know if he is any kind of gun enthusiast but he has been seen on the show with an AK more than once.

I'm sure Clarkson wouldn't approve of the kind of legal arms availability we have over here, but you're right, I'm sure if guns were suddenly legal in the UK, he'd probably buy a bunch. There was the second America special where they all practiced "drive by shootings" in their supercars. Clarkson grabbed an AR-15 and went at it in style, since his Mercedes SLS had the gullwing doors - perfect for all your drive by shooting needs, lol.
I think my favorite episode was the one where they all went "caravaning." Hilarious.
You also learn some interesting stuff. Once their star in a reasonably priced car was an American, Amber Heard. Super hot, owns a 357 mag revolver (didn't specify past that), and also drives a 68 or 69 Mustang as her daily driver in the states. She's also bisexual. What a woman.
