Call me what you want, just don't call me late for dinner.

Well, it's good enough for government work.

As my good friend always said, you don't need a lot of guns, just a lot of bullets.

I have a few I say all the time,

"if you ask me a stupid question, I'm gonna give you a stupid answer."

"you know you love your job when you complain about it at work, but when your at home and with your friends, all you can think about is what you are going to do on your next shift and start smiling for no apparent reason."

"I may smoke, and I may drink, and I may eat food thats bad for me, but when I go I don't want people to say how healthy I was and how I worried about every little thing. I want them to talk about how much fun we had, the memories we made, and the things we shared together."

and my personal favorite, "If stupid were a crime, you would have a life sentence"
"The value you put on the lost will be determined by the sacrifice you are willing to make to seek them until they are found."

I'm too lazy to provide sources, except for my own:
    "Let's roll"
"What we have heyah', is a failure to communicate"
    "It is what it is"
"Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional"
    "This too shall pass"

These are mine, as frequently repeated to my 11 yr old, father-less, grand nephew:

Two simple rules: 1. Don't be stupid 2. Don't trust anyone (except family).

Whenever he expresses a want for a new vid game, bike, go cart, etc., etc....my response to him, which he has come to know very well and is quite tired of hearing, is: stay in school, get good grades (he's nat'l honor ), graduate, go to college, graduate, get a job, work hard, buy X. Now, whenever he says, "I want/need...", all I say is "stay in school..." he'll put his hand up or say "I know, I know" to stop me

I would share, but this is a family forum....
Don"t let stupid be your skill set....

Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means, that you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you......

You'll have that from time to time
"It is your evil that will be sought by us. With every breath we will hunt them down. Each day we will spill their blood, until it rains down from the skies. Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles that every man from every faith can embrace." -McManus twins Boondock Saints

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Experience is the best teacher but the most unforgiving.
