    Show Us Your Truck

With all of the talk about buying trucks in a recent thread, I thought that it would be interesting to see what you guys had. You don't have to currently own the truck you post. If you had an old truck that you loved but don't currently have it anymore, please feel free to post that as well. Tell us how you got the truck and or any old war stories you may have accordingly.

    Can't wait to see!

For me, it's not really about the truck, a 2000 Chevy S-10 4X, it's about where I can take it...

...and still make it back to where we're staying...

Cause it usually storms in the afternoon in Colorado in the summer.

That is awesome. I think that is the appeal for me as well when it comes to a truck. Its the lifestyle that a truck can afford you. Its a transport to an escape. I love the idea of piling up a bunch of gear and going fishing or hiding out in the mountains (the latter...I have never done).

It really is a symbol of independence isn't it?

F350, I'm in the north Denver Metro area, been here forever, it seems. The camper is true freedom, you could live in it for a while if things went south...a mini mobile home of sorts...

DefConGun, it really is a taste of going most anywhere you like, if I ever got around to making mine more capable, I could really get around...it's a bone stock at the moment.

Sure looking forward to it; just an hour away is the Grand Mesa, world's largest flat topped mountain, with THOUSANDS of acres of public land in all directions.....The wife may forget what I look like

While the actual load is not as heavy, it LOOKS more impressive with round bales (this is actually my son-in-laws truck, but I pull the same thing with my truck--just don't have a picture with round bales on it)

The "other" picture is my wife's "truck"

1999 Toyota Tacoma with 120,000 or so miles. Doing what it does best. Getting me to a trout stream on some backwoods dirt road. It won't win any beauty contests. But it only does 3 things really, if I'm in it I'm working, fishing, or hunting.
