I am just as nice as anyone lets me be and can be just as mean as anyone makes me. - Quoted from Terryger, New member to our forum.
Speaking of Aflac,I had it at the job I quit back in 92,within a month of starting my new job I suffered a spinal cord injury and spent 8 days in ICU and a total of 13 days in the hospital, then 30 days inpatient rehab.I saw the commercial on tv after getting home from rehab and said I had that at my last job,I called the HR person and asked about my Aflac policy.I was still covered when I got hurt, the rep came by and filled out the paperwork and about a week later he showed up with a check for $14,200,it supplemented my work comp until my SSD kicked in and I didn't have to worry about any normal bills
