Just curious about the paticipants in this forum
I am posting this here on the assumption that most members visit the General Firearms Discussion board more than any other single one.
As I was reading another thread, someone was called an "Old Coot", and I started to wonder....What is the median age of folks that log in here?
Thanks for your responses.

If I'm 40, which do I pick?
Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

Getting old is kind of like being a used car, after you get used to the verbiage, the rest really isn't so bad...yet.

69, but most people think I'm a lot younger than that and I act a lot younger than that.
A whole lot of age is mental attitude. I know people who are 20 years younger than me who are "old", and I know people my age and older who are "young".
I'll consider myself "old" when I can no longer ride my Harley, shoot my guns, and no longer appreciate looking at pretty women.

I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

I'm 51... and I'm slowing up.I'm gettin to where 3 good men....IF they practiced daily MIGHT be able to whoop me...but only if they practiced together. On the other hand, I'm old enough that when I cheat to win....no one'll will give it a second thought.
I can still outfight, outhink, outcuss, outshoot and outclass people half my age. I appreciate fine wine, old guns, straight shooting, the truth and a smart woman, although I'm begginging to appreciate sharp brains more than sharp looks. I'm still looking for great gun deals, honest laywers and politicians that dont speak with a forked tongue...
and here lately...I've put air conditioning into one of the top two things invented by man...second only to the electricity it takes to run it.
