Favorite Films...With Guns
To me, this basically means favorite movies, because almost all of my favorite films have guns in them. I haven't seen one of these threads since I've been on here, and I like to watch movies in my downtime, so here it goes:
1. Goodfellas - Will never be topped. So many classic scenes and lines, a great soundtrack, and great pacing. I still have to watch it once or twice a year.
2. The Godfather Part I - Some like part II better, but the original is still king.
3. Heat - Michael Mann films have excellent gun play in them. This may be the baddest movie ever made.
4. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - I used to watch this whenever it was on TV when I was a kid (in the 90's) with my dad. People really can shoot that well, right?
5. Cool Hand Luke - Classic Paul Newman. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
I really like crime dramas and gangster flicks, but I'm pretty well versed in all genre's, so throw some out there.

A Christmas Story:
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."

HMMM...Assasins and Tears of the Sun for the suppressed pistol stuff, Boondock saints was cool but bad suppressed sound effects. Totally have to push the suspension of disbelief button but equalibrium is awesome. I mean gun based martial arts...what could be more awesome! Heat was cool during the gunfight scenes, but a bit slow sometimes. Then there's saving private ryan, awesome! Shooter was cool, sniper was also. Hitman also should get a mention.
