Don't know why but I really hate the "in your wheel house" phrase
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.
SHTF (crap) hits the fan
I hate it.......have ANY of you ever seen crap hit the fan? That one really bugs me.
And the over-use of LIKE
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
"tarmac" used as an airport location instead of a paving material (British usage) - but I'm fighting a lost battle on this one.

"It's better to be judged by twelve than carried by six."
"A right unexercised is a right lost."
"Sheeple," "Wolves," "Sheepdogs" referring to citizens, bad guys and concealed carriers.
Irregardless, we'll all put our noses to the grindstone & make this a team effort, that is, we'll effort a solution to make this thread the best that it can be.
For all intents and purposes...or intensive purposes, that's neither here nor there.
"Historical examination of the right to bear arms, from English antecedents to the drafting of the Second Amendment, bears proof that the right to bear arms has consistently been, and should still be, construed as an individual right." -- U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings, Re: U.S. vs Emerson (1999)
I prefer to live dangerously free than safely caged!
"Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun. And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son." Josh Thompson "Way Out Here"
"It's all good."
"Everything happens for a reason."
I HATE those.
"sweet" (I've started saying it and annoy myself)
"Can I ask you a question?"
"No offense but...."
Basically, I'm a simple guy but there are a few phrases that get my goat...
I like to move forward, I'm a boots on the ground kind of guy that likes to think outside the box but some phrases actually find me wanting to put a personal version of SHTF on some people...y'all know what I'm sayin? I'm talking of kicking tail all over the Tarmac...
I could be having a great day, and at the end of that day, I'll think about some of the ridiculous things I've heard or read.
Irregardless of that fact, I still enjoy reading most of the posts on this board. It seems that at this point in time we do have a lot of new posters on board and its up to us veterans to bring it to thier attention that some of the sayings they use frequently can be annoying. If we can make this a team effort, we can actually see some change in the future, if not for ourselves,at least we can do it for the children.
Let me be perfectly clear here, if we dont start cleaning up our phrases and use common sense English,it puts a large burden on the Moderators to keep things smoothly flowing, but in reality, that's neither here nor there. Its really up to the Sheepdogs here to help educate the Sheeple so that they dont fall into the traps set by the Wolves.
Its not an easy thing educating some people as it requires a paradigm shift in their thought process and some people would rather die first than do that. For all intents and purposes it's gonna take a lot of time and effort but if we make it a team effort we can do it.
I need a favor here, and I'm asking the the posters here to keep it simple. At any rate, I think a little improvement can go a longs ways. We may have to push the envolope a bit to enact CHANGE but if we can hit the ground running, I think we can take it to the next level.
