What A Bummer!
I went fishing with a friend in his canoe on Tuesday, caught 4 fish, small, but at least I caught something. I also lost my wallet, apparently sometime while we were fishing it came out of my back pocket and took a dive. Well, I had about $150.00, Driver's License, Debit Card, Credit Card, Boat Registration Card, and both of my CCDW Permits, both Delaware CCDW Permit and my HR-218 LEOSA Permit. Spent today canceling credit cards and getting replacements, got a new Driver's License and Boat Registration Card, Medical Cards, etc. The bad part is that it will probably take 3-4 weeks to get my DE Permit replaced, has to go through the Prothonotary's Office at Superior Court, and when I contacted the State Bureau Of Identification the young lady that handles the HR-218 permits is on a 2 week vacation and I can't get a replacement until she returns. So I can't carry for a couple of weeks, thus the
title of the thread!

They one have one person handling the permits? I'd hate to be that person coming back from Vacations. Major bummer for you and her.
Why?? Because at the last second, the Police are minutes away.

Man sorry to hear about your misfortune. Yeah, I'd say the title is fitting, but IMO, it ranks higher on the bummer meter; that just plain stinks! Even after an excellent fishing trip, that would put a damper any outing.

Ugh. I hate that for you. I'm surprised something like that doesn't happen more often to me. I did slam my keys in the hatchback of my SUV yesterday, turning them into a crumpled ball of metal, if that makes you feel any better.

This is just the reason I wear my fanny pack,
Who cares what I look like with it on!
Biking, Hiking, canoeing, its just too practical and convenient for me.

+1 for fanny pack carry. There are times when it works better than anything else.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.

Fanny packs do get a pass while fishing etc., but you just can't call it a fanny pack. Man cards have been revoked for lesser offenses.

Bwahahahaha, I would not be caught dead in one of those things!!!! +1 on the man card statement. The day I carry a gun in a fannypack is the day I bought a minivan, and the day after I had my surgery turning me into a eunuch!

Same here. Not to mention it is better on your back and hips.
