We just kind of smile and nod and then laugh our asses off when we leave the house.
Thanks for the memories. I remember that speech and the "I'm serious," complete with that wide-eyed, psycho stare.

I had a roommate that claimed to be a ninja (not joking). His rate was Yeoman (desk jockey). He wasn't allowed anywhere near the armory.

I'm pretty sure that he stole my issued Ka-Bar when he moved out. It was a beautifully seasoned knife that I had worn as a Bos'n for several years. It was likely added to compliment his stories of adventure.

    I miss that stupid knife...

Went to High school with a guy like that. He's been arrested quite a number of times for impersonating
a police office and has even made the local paper a few times with his efforts. Last I heard he was in jail
for a few years as a habitual offender.

    A real mental case.

He was a mortarman in the Corps, we almost went in on the buddy program together, he claims he was a "sniper" and while he has every picture imaginable from SOI, you never see a picture of him with a M40, also claims that the SEALS wanted him....claimed that he reason he was delayed in going to boot camp was for "psych eval" but was really issues with him and the ASVAB...

The list goes on, oh...and some rich guy wanted to hire him to put together a team to go into the middle-east and rescue his son or daughter or something....and we'd be able to keep the weapons after...

    Last one and I'm done...

This is the guy, http://www.defensivecarry.com/forum/...s/coltcco.html. I think his dad was a part owner of CCA or something. At some point in time I had the guy's a name but it's escaped me.
