I like those gun shaped cookie cutters. I just made a nice platter of watermelon using a cookie cutter that was non-gun related (actually a dog bone shape - we called them watermelon bones). They would be super cute in little gun shapes. Just take watermelon 1/2 inch thick and press the cutter into it. Everybody loved it.

Baking can be a lot of fun. It can also be frustrating as all get out! What I hate is when they give you the total amount of flower and don't say "divided" or anything to indicate that you are not supposed to toss it all in the bowl at once. I had the wife reading the recipe to me yesterday while I made some jumbo banana muffins. It said 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour. So I tossed it in the bowl. Fortunately she read ahead and saw that I should only put the first cup in at that point and put the remaining 3/4 cup in later with the eggs.

Good job on the cake. I've baked more than a few in my day. My M-I-L was a professional cake decorator and instructor for over 50 years. I've taken a couple of her classes.

I like decorating, but I don't like eating frosting. Unless it's whipped cream frosting.

I liked your cake. Complete with Glock too!
