    I'm Deploying!

    Yeap, Finally have got what I have been waiting for. I couldnt find any Infantry National Guard Units to go with so I have been able to reclass to a MP, and will be going to AIT in late october to reclass. I am very excited that this option has become open for me. Good thing is I'm going with my state's MP unit, not another states.

    Now on a different note, I got a pair of IBA plates off ebay for 250!!! (It was a steal) and will be doing physical training in that and the rest of my shooting with my AR-15 in it as well, I will post some pictures later.

    Ill step off my stool now! Im just so excited!!!

    Take care over there, if you want any input, feel free to PM me.

    Just a side note, while occasional PT in plates is certainly not a bad idea, go into it gradually,and don't do it everytime. You will be kicking yourself if you give yourself a stress fracture or mess up your hips, both of which are possible.

    Really we needed more endurance than speed. I think the furthest I had to run in country was 100-150 meters, but we had to do 12+ hour patrols with full kit.
