Another Ride I wish wasn't necessary

I spent most of the afternoon washing my bike and shining chrome that has been neglected for too long, tomorrow at 10 AM I will be meeting up with members of the Patriot Guard at the McAllen Tx Airport to welcome
"U.S. Army Sgt. Rodolfo “Rudy” Rodriguez Jr" home.He paid the supreme sacrifice on his 3rd Combat Tour on September 14th.
We also received notice that day’s later, "Army Sgt. Estevan Altamirano, 30, died during his fourth tour of duty in Iraq.
Our last ride was over 6 months ago, this really brings the war home every time we ride, words can't explain how I feel

It is hard to express in words how you feel, but we understand.

It is a sad duty, but he will be escorted by an outstanding group of folks, including yourself, who will treat him with the utmost of respect. Thank you contributing where you can, and God bless.

The older I get the more emotional I get over the sacrifices that these young men and women make for our country.
The respect you and your group show is 'above and beyond'...and greatly appreciated.
    I share your respect...Thank You!

I've been to a couple of funerals that were escorted by the PGRs, and I can't thank you or them enough for your service. There is nothing like the rumble of 50+ bikes in front of a procession to let the world know that we are bringing another warrior home to his/her final rest. God Bless each of you!

Ride safe, brother. We'll be doing something very similar in Tampa today.
