It was a play on both my last name, and as he put it, possessing a command presence on the scene of major incidents. The chief once described me as a guy "who definitely does not possess a milquetoast personality."
It's followed me from job to job for the last 25 years.

I took the name from Steven Seagal's main character from "Hard to Kill", Mason Storm. I used the name Jason instead of Mason.
Coincidentally I had bought a Walther PPK just about the time I joined this forum, so I guess that pistol was fresh on my mind. That was many pistols ago, and since I don't actively CC a ppk now, I've thought about changing to PPSheat.
