Pain is the best teacher, but nobody wants to go to his class.

When the past smothers the present, there is only desperation. When the future absorbs the present, life stands still. In either case a decision must be made because you only live now and you are only what you are now.

    LOL

Texas does many things well. It is on my list of possible retirement states. Hell, it may end up being my retirement country.

I may move to Texas for work. It seems like the education situation, especially the music education situation is looking good down there. I spent a week in Waco earlier this year for the womens NCAA basketball tournament, and it wasn't too bad. I'm assuming the rest of Texas is as good or better than Waco. haha

I too considered Texas for a new place to live, just because its Texas.

I might consider Texas, if the Dallas Cowboys moved out.

Popular related bumper stickers often seen locally ....

"I'm from Texas, what country are you from"?

"I wasn't born here, but I got here as quick as I could".
Asked by a CNN reporter "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist"?, the Marine sniper simply shrugged & replied "recoil".

Now more than ever, we are at war on our home soil ... WAKE UP & arm our troops when they are on home soil!

I love Texas, but I'd have to move to North Texas as far away as possible from all of the illegal aliens. Other than that, it's one of my "go-to" states.
