I seen this on the Today show this morning. Wow! Mom must be pissed?

Nothing beats the babysitter with the child strapped in a stroller in the back of a pick-up though?

I think he is actually being very responsible,he realises that his 9 year old daughter is much more mature than he is and therefore figures it's time she learn to drive so she can haul him around while he acts lika an immature idiot

This reminds me of when a dad showed up drunk to pick up his kid from my kid's birthday party.

I walked him back onto the front lawn and told him that his kid was staying with me until somebody sober showed up.

I enjoy a good drink as much as the next guy, but man I hate drunks.

Man, not sure how to address this.

When I was 11 and 12 years old, my father was working for a small parts manufacturer outside of Detroit. He would come home for dinner with a carload of parts that needed to get to the airport for shipment to some diverse auto manufacturer -- the plant he worked for created and plated parts for the entire industry, all American auto makers at the time -- and he'd be tired after a long day at work.

We woud eat dinner, get in the car, he'd drive through town to the interstate, I-96, then put me behind the wheel to drive the interstate down to the exit we needed to go to the airport at Willow Run while he took a nap. I'd pull off, he'd drive from the exit to the airport, drop off parts and then get me back to the interstate so he could nap on the way home. He'd catch a good 30 minutes of sleep each way.

This was 40 years ago. I never thought anything bad of my dad and I certainly don't think I turned out too bad. But it was 40 years ago, and he wasn't drunk.

That is a true statement. Of course, over there, they can't drive any worse than any other driver on the road.
