I agree with Bumper and the other moderators that the people on the board make the difference. We moderators are responsible for enforcing the rules, but if the members of Combat Carry didn't believe in those rules we could not keep up.
It may come as a shock to you that since Combat Carry started there have been less than 50 bannings. A goodly number of those, almost half, have been spammers. We don't want you member to be bombarded with anti-virus software pitches, penny stock pitches, Viagra pitches, nor any other spam type pitches. So when we see one we immediately ban the sender. Those others amount to what maybe 25 on a board that has over 5,500 member and over 2,300 active members. With that kind of record it is obvious that we have great members. It is also obvious that there are a lot of people who want a well moderated board and about 40 of those people a day find us. They look at the forums and decide that Combat Carry is exactly what they are looking for.
So members as a moderator I say thanks for making my job easy. Thanks for being understanding when we have to edit or move or delete a post or thread. Thanks for using that red triangle at the bottom of each post to report a post that appears to be over the edge. Thanks for respecting each other and for being the best members on the net. Thanks for having a sense of humor and for laughing with us and occasionally at us. Thanks for caring about each other. Thanks for taking the time to say thanks.
As a former Army officer, I will pay you the highest respect I can pay someone who does not hold a military rank higher than mine - Members of Combat Carry - I salute you.

It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

Thanks a lot y'all. The moderator staff here is one of the reasons that this is one of my favorite forums.

I really was frustrated over PDO's quality (to those who used to visit) that went downhill fast...this place is very refreshing!
Thanks, from Central Florida!

I say it quite often, "Combat Carry is the best gun related message board on the World Wild Web. Period."
